More pics of Milo!

Our New Puppy!

Introducing our latest addition to the family......Milo! He is our sweet little puppy. He is 12 weeks old and the love of our lives! :) He is such a good dog. He loves the kids and loves to sit and snuggle with Mom and drive everywhere with us. He is potty training amazingly well and is so easy to take care of. His favorite thing to do is play fetch with all of his toys. We are so happy to have him!! We found him from a breeder down the street who normally breeds Yorkies. She is one of the only breeders in Utah for this type of dog. They are called prazsky Krysaviks(prague ratter for short). His Mom was imported from the Czech Republic where they are mostly found. They are growing in popularity in the US and, in our families opionion, the "perfect dog"! He is not a yippy dog at all and is super smart. This is our third dog that we have owned since we've been married and definately the best fit for our family. We recommend this breed to anyone!! Here are a few pics of him....Enjoy!!!

Winter Wonderland

It snows so much here in Utah that it just becomes a way of life. I grew up in Washington State most of my life and it rarely snows there. If it snowed or if we had black ice the schools would close and we would stay at home!! Nothing gets cancelled for weather here! My kids love the snow and love to play outside on their sleds and make snowmen. Here are a few pictures of the kids playing outside in the "W.W."(winter wonderland).

Christmas Activities

Ashley had her very first dance recital on the 12th of December! She was the cutest little bee in the world!(at least in my opinion :) She wasn't scared to go on stage which was a huge blessing. I was afraid she might cry but she was definately loving the attention. I asked her after the night was over what her favorite part was and she said, "Getting flowers from Daddy!" Too cute for words!

Alexis had a competition on December 13th. She is in competition cheerleading and is doing incredible! She can now do her triple handsprings and a tuck(backflip) on her own. The coach asked me what I was feeding her because she is all of the sudden learning everything at such a fast pace! Way to go Lexi! Their team won first place at the competition and qualified to compete at Nationals in California. We will be going to that in April. After Christmas we have about 10 more competitions all across the valley. Fun times for the family!!

Bruno just recieved his orange belt in Karate! He started with the white belt, then yellow, now orange. Each belt they move up to they have to complete a series of moves that they memorize and if they are respecting their parents and doing well in school they get to move up. Bruno has a lot of fun with his friends going to Karate practice. I just wish he wouldn't use any of the moves on his Sisters :). Nice work Bruno 5!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

This year Mommy went a little bit crazy and decided to have 5 Christmas trees at our house. I know, I know a little bit over-kill, but it has been fun collecting ornaments and ribbons over the years at the "after-christmas" sales! The kids all have their own trees in their rooms(not full sized of course) and this year Nana and Papa gave us their old tree from the basement which we put in the front room. Our family tree that Santa delivers all the goodies to is in the Family Room. Here are a couple of pics to show off all of our hard work! :)

Fall Family Pictures!

We haven't had family pictures taken in about three years. Holly took us out last week and took a few. Of course it started raining on the day we went and was clear and sunny the rest of the week!!

Trick or Treat!!

Ashley was "Sleeping Beauty" this year and made it to about 5 homes before she was too tired to go any further. Bruno was the "Incredible Hulk" and lasted about an hour of trick or treating!! Alexis was "Rapunzel" and with brand new high heels that matched her dress, lasted about 3 and a half hours!!! She wins the trick or treating award this year!

Carvin' Pumpkins!

Carving pumpkins was a lot of fun this year! Little Bruno had a blast designing his own face for his pumpkin and cutting it himself. Alexis got her idea from a book and Ashley and Mommy carved a cute little ghost with a hairbow!(I've trained her well!)

October News!

We have been pretty busy this October. My kids are off track and definately keep me busy! My Grandpa who was going to be 99 years old this month, passed away last Sunday. He was the kindest, nicest, and most humble man I know. He will be greatly missed! Bruno (my Hubby) flew us to Whyoming for the funeral on Thursday the 30th of October. Little Bruno decided to stay home with a friend. He was a little bit nervous to see Grandpa. We had a great flight and it was a beautiful day. I was grateful for the chance to go and be with family, even if it was just for the day. Funerals are definately learning experiences. It always leaves me thinking of ways to improve my life and spirituality. Ashley (My 3 year old) kept asking if we were in "Heaven". I sure hope that heaven isn't like Lovell, Whyoming! Here are some pics from our trip.

Last Chance Boating!

This was probably our last boating trip for this summer. The water was unbearably cold and Lexi was the only one brave enough(and the only one with a wetsuit) to wakeboard or ski! She rocked it out with Her Dad's board! I can't believe all the stuff she is willing to try. Here are some pictures of our day at Rockport with our friends, The Petersens. After boating, the kids got a lesson on how to shoot a bow and arrow! It was a lot of fun trying to search for the arrows in the field afterwards!!!
